She Is Not HIV Positive – FASSA Says

A Press release signed by the President and Public Relation Officer of the Faculty of Science Students’ Association, The Polytechnic Ibadan, in persons of ALATISE ABEEB OPEYEMI, and FAGORUSI MUYIWA ISRAEL respectively, has disregarded the online publication claiming OGUNJIMI RUKAYAT OLUBUKOLA, an ND II student of Science Laboratory Technology department is HIV positive.

The publication which trolled the internet space and got the attention of the FASSA was discovered to be a plot orchestrated by OLADELE DANIEL, an ex-student of Kwara State Polytechnic to get back at the victim, OGUNJIMI RUKAYAT, consequence of her disapproval of his proposal of indulging in an affair with him. The victim OGUNJIMI RUKAYAT said, “The rumor was cooked up by one OLADELE DANIEL, an ex-student of Kwara state polytechnic after he messaged me on facebook and claimed he was interested in having an affair with me which I turned down, he continued in his bid to date me which I continued to turn down until he started blackmailing me and calling me all sorts of names. The members of the Nigeria Police Force have been informed and I have decided to press charges on the matter and charge Oladele Daniel to court.”

The association, in their release, has come to inform the general public to disregard the news, and are ready to take up any legal actions on anyone caught spreading the rumor to tarnish the image of any of its members.

  4. even if she is HIV positive, why are they making a serious issue out of this?
    this is not the first time somebody will be HIV positive on campus.
