SUG Executives Out Of SARS Custody

With respect to the post published earlier today concerning the Students’ Union Executives taken into custody of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), we hereby announce to you that they have now regained their freedom on Tuesday evening, 12th of March, 2019.

The peaceful walk-of-appeal demonstrated on Tuesday morning, 12th of March, 2019 by the SUG, the Faculty and Department Presidents, other students’ stakeholders, coupled with the unrelenting effort and diplomatic approach of the Management of the institution precipitated their release. [adinserter name=”Block 3″][adinserter name=”Block 2″]

Full details of the incident would be related to the public after our correspondence has gotten in contact with the SUG.

  3. I still get to wonder, if Sug excos despite having President, Gen Sec and the likes in their misdt couldn’t get to free themselves on the spot cos it’s fully sure they will be having their ID Cards with them.. what would now have happened if it’s other students?

    My thoughts though
