SUG Executives Taken Into SARS Custody

Students’ Union Executives, TPI have been taken into the Special Anti-Robbery Squad custody ever since Saturday, 9th March 2019.

This unfortunate incidence was said to involve the SUG President, Vice President I and II, General Secretary, Welfare Director, Sport Director and one student.

Report obtained from the Financial Secretary of the Union indicated that the victims were on their way to perform their civil rights for the gubernatorial election when the Union bus was hijacked and forcefully taken into police custody.

Further report from a reliable source affirmed that all efforts to see the victims have been denied since Saturday as they were said to be alleged hooligans who were involved in political violence meanwhile they were only on transit to exercise their civic rights of democracy.[adinserter name=”Block 3″][adinserter name=”Block 2″]

The Students’ Union Government under the spokesperson of the Senate President, Comr. Bello Rahman, hereby appeals to the management of the institution to intervene and make necessary steps to prevent further alleviation of the situation.
