With regards to the recent chaos on campus that led to the compulsory Mid-semester Break, the NAPES Sport Director, Comr. Oyeniyi Tobi released a note confirming he (together with others who sustained injuries) have been treated and as well addressing the public to maintain peace in the institution.

Full text reads:

I Comr. Oyeniyi Tobi Adeoye, the NAPES Sport Director 1, use this medium to appreciate all efforts aimed towards retaliating for those injured and brutally beaten in the incidence that transpired yesterday at the Main Pitch, Sport Pavilion, North campus of The Polytechnic lbadan.

I am glad to tell you that I and the others who sustained injuries from the attack by those miscreants called “Forum”, have been treated and will be discharged in a short while. [adinserter name=”Block 3″][adinserter name=”Block 2″]

To this end, I appeal that we maintain peace both in South and the rest of the institution. We don’t want any more casualties. The entire school has felt our presence today; as lions that do not run from a fight. We believe that the management will go into action to bring those culprits to justice.

Thanks once again for expressing your detest towards the injustice that has been dealt us in South.

Long Live Southerners!!

Signed: Comr. Oyeniyi Tobi Adeoye (NAPES Sport Director 1. )
