Management Orders Student To Evacuate Halls of Residence With Immediate Effect

The management of the institution has ordered the immediate evacuation of students from faculties of Engineering, Science, and Environmental Studies from the Halls of Residence on or before 12-noon of Saturday, 16th November 2019.

The directive which was contained in a memo sent across to the necessary offices instructed the students from the above faculties to proceed on their second-semester break with immediate effect.

2018/2019 END OF SECOND SEMESTER BY FENG, FSC, AND FES VACATION FROM HALLS OF RESIDENCE

Following the completion of Second Semester 2018/2019 examination by the faculties listed below;

• Faculty of Engineering
• Faculty of Science
• Faculty of Environmental Studies

I am directed to inform you that the Rector, on behalf of the Board of Studies has approved that students from the above mentioned Faculties should proceed on their Second Semester break with immediate effect. However, resumption for the next academic session (i.e 2019/2020) shall be communicated soonest. Consequently, students from these faculties have been directed to vacate their various Halls of Residence on or before 12.00noon on Saturday, 18th November, 2019. Any student found violating this directive would be sanctioned properly.

Meanwhile, the Hall Wardens, Supervisors and the Acting Chief Security Officers have been directed to effected the above directive.
