A Man And That Man: A Food For Thought

Critically unromantic and specifically uncanny, I greet you with every sense of witticism as my hear instruct my pen to waltz and I can’t, but hope that this silent noise my pen makes is accepted fundamentally.

Oh! My dear reader, now let’s get down straight. I hope I have not done too much damage to your thinking Niche with this philosophical topic I conceived from pregnant thought? Probably not, I shouldn’t think that you are definitely wise.

First and foremost, “Who is a Man?” and “Who is that Man?”. A great man of act and art once said, “Never look down on any man unless you have seen his grave”. Exactly, I am not writing this to look down on anyone, I am only writing this to make you understand that no matter how well you try to be fair and sacred in expressions and reactions, all men are not necessarily equal in terms of substance and intellectual delivery.

The letter “A” is a very powerful letter, it create a monopoly of conceptual recognition for a single thing or person, making that thing or person the center of attraction and attention, but when the word “That” is used to recognize or point out a thing or person, it rhetorically implies that the thing or person in question is of no extra ordinary importance. The most significant of all differences between “a” man and “that” man is that “a man” “dares” what “that man” “fears”.

Our maker unsparingly gifted everyone not according to their ability or capacity but according to the tenacity and viscosity. If you are meant for the sky, while stroll low with shed, if you are meant for the ground why fly high with hawks, if you are meant for the ocean why love the roves of the river.

I dare you today… “be a man” or be that man. It has always been a talk of choice and preference not destiny and tendencies. You know what! Life can be candid, funny and jokingly unfunny. Just like a white man once said “The world elites elect those who can do, not those who are done for”.

Nobody cares about who you are or where you are from. The question is “what can you deliver”. A musician must make music, a painter must paint, a writer must write. What must be, must be… look into yourself, ask your gut, “what can I not do”…. Wake up bro and be a man or be that man.
