Press & Security Dept. Also Advise Not To Protest

We recently published an article some hours ago stating that the Joint SUG Forum pleaded with students not to protest, here is another note released by the Press Council together with the Security Department as they also advise students not to protest.

The note reads:

This is to inform the entire students of The Polytechnic, Ibadan that the protest some students are proposing is not right at this time and it is unhealthy.

This protest is not recognized either by the Student Union Government or National Association of Nigerian Student (NANS).

You are hereby advised to wait for the outcome of the Committee set up by the state government and to withdraw from such an intention and failure to comply attracts consequences.
