Dress In Accordance With Institutions Dress-code — Management
The management recently released a memo to draw every students’ attention to dress decently in accordance with the institution’s dress code. The memo reads;
REFRAINING FROM IMMORAL DRESSING
Attention of students is hereby drawn to the need for them to dress decently in accordance with the institution’s dress code.
You are to note that The Polytechnic, Ibadan awards certificates to Students who are found worthy in academics and good character. Dressing constitutes a unit of assessing good character.
Therefore, the following modes of dressing are not acceptable:
==> Sagging of Trousers
==> Tightly fitted blouses, shirts and trousers
==> Strapless blouses and knickers [adinserter name=”Block 3″][adinserter name=”Block 2″]
==> Bushy and Unkempt hairs by Males
==> Short and skimpy blouses or skirts that do not reach below the knee
==> Putting on studs/ear rings by Males
==> Unkempt appearance
==> Multi coloured weave-on (only natural colours i.e black & brown are acceptable)
==> Revealing clothes by female students
==> Tattered Jeans
Students are hereby warned to desist from engaging in the acts mentioned above as there are sanctions ranging from suspension to expulsion.
Academic staff are hereby requested not to allow any student that dresses indecently as listed above into classes, Laboratries, registration venues, etc. while Non-Teaching staff are also requested not to render any services to such students.

@Portable, the date for that is not known.. but applicants are only advised to keep checking on their portal
As far as mode of dressing is concerned, i think this is good idea for institution like this, we have to dress in normal one in order to encourage outside people that our school is good.
