Election: No Intimidation

It has been discovered recently that some of the aspirants contesting for various post on campus are being intimidated by a person or some other group of person. Vowing for a post is meant to be driven by an individual passion but lately, the method of raising aspirants is mostly done by some ‘sect of people‘ either known as godfathers or leaders of some type.

In likely cases, some aspirants will be purposely instructed to step-down for the other. In situation like this, the said aspirant instructed to step-down is usually offered another post entirely or no post at all. Aspirants are meant to be voted in accordance with their values and level of meeting up with the electoral requirements but in politics of today, aspirants are raised even without passing through the primary election. [adinserter name=”Block 3″][adinserter name=”Block 2″]

More so, it has been reported that a particular individual whose name is currently with-hold was found in different classes giving out to some of aspirants vowing for post in the student union executive that, it is a must for every aspirants to come see him privately before any steps of contesting for the election can be considered.

On this note, it is of great importance for all aspirants not to get intimated by any person of sect of individuals. The voters are not interested in giving out their votes an intimidated person.
